Williams Fried Chicken | Our Story
Since 1987, neighborhood after neighborhood
Mr. Williams opened his first fried chicken kitchen in Dallas in 1987 with a simple promise: hot, crispy chicken cooked fresh in front of you. Today, Williams Chicken serves nearly thirty locations across North Texas, and every one still honors that same neighborhood soul.
The first kitchen in South Dallas
That original location made one promise: fresh chicken, cooked to order, no shortcuts. Eater Dallas later recognized Williams as serving some of the best crispy fried chicken in Big D.
Growing across the metroplex
From Arlington and Fort Worth to McKinney, Plano, and Carrollton — each new location kept the original promise: made-to-order cooking, golden crispiness, neighborhood hospitality.
Cooked right in front of you
Your chicken hits the hot oil when you order — no prep list from yesterday, no assembly line. The wait is worth it because it was just fried for you, still steaming and crispy all the way through.
The people who serve you
Anwar, Kevin, Amber, Dee, Rocky — regulars know these names because they've been behind the counter for years, greeting families who've been coming back for fifteen, twenty years or more.
